Pre-nursery of The Little celebrated Green day by flaunting their green outfit . They were excited to find green color objects in the class and made frog using shapes cut out given to them which they can't wait to carry back home and show . Green_day celebration.
On the A4 size paper a outline of tree trunk was drawn with branches. Parents were told to send the passport size photos of their family members. Children were instructed to stick the cut out of the leaves on the tree. After making a tree, children were asked to paste the photos of their family members in a proper sequence. i.e head of the family etc. Children enjoyed doing this activity.
Pre- Nursery Green Day Celebration at DPS Green is the color of balance and harmony, it is an emotionally positive color, giving us the ability to love and nurture ourselves and others unconditionally. Green is the color of nature, fertility and life. It’s the symbol of prosperity, freshness, and progress. The significance of the color was reiterated as the students and teachers of Pre-Nursery of Delhi Public School, Nashik were dressed in green color. The day started with a vibrant display of green color all around the class. Children were taken to the Pre – primary assembly area for the green day celebration. They brought green food like guava, spinach paratha, sprouts chilla, lady finger etc. Teachers discussed the green theme and children pasted leaves on tree cutout as an activity. Green Day was a practical learning experience for the children and was very enjoyable.
Happy Children’s day hymn was all around the corners of Delhi Public School, Nashik. Children were thrilled to see their teachers perform in their assembly like one of them. Teachers conducted the assembly as the children would present their roles. Principal Dr. Pushpy Dutt delivered a beautiful and informative speech on Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and his love for children which eventually made his birthday celebrated as Children’s day in India. She narrated the entire speech as a child would orate. All the Children laughed and giggled to their best at the same time gathered the information provided. Children had a fun time answering to the quiz, rolling on tongue twisters, listening to beautiful poetries and cake cutting. At the end Principal extended a happy note to the children by granting them an extra play time for the day and also mentioned school days are the best days in a Child’s life.
The first day of the school in a tot’s life is very precious for the parents and teachers. To celebrate the first beautiful 100 days of school Delhi Public School Nashik holds a mega event for the cute bundle of joys each year. The 100 days of Pre nursery is a special opportunity to reflect upon and celebrate major milestones representing progress, growth and achievement of the tiny tots. The little ones marked this special day with beautiful presentations starting with seven creations of God, Life cycle of a Butterfly and Flowers of 12 different Countries. Master and Miss DPS from each class of Pre Nursery were announced and these tiny tots very confidently presented themselves against the audience on the stage. Director Mr. Siddharth Rajgarhia, Principal Dr. Pushpy Dutt and the Chief Guest Ms. Varsha Pichaya a prominent practicing lawyer of the city were amazed and thrilled to see their performances. It was a day full of fun and frolic for the tots, their parents and teachers.
